Resources for Persons with Disabilities

A transition planning resource for Area 14 special education teachers and their students

Web Site Development:

The www.wia14.org internet web site was designed and developed to be simple to use and is a mirror to the printed manual with counties, colleges, and agencies sections. The advantage to having the printed manual as a web site is: having the information available to a wider audience with internet access 24 hours a day 7 days a week, the college section has links to all the college web sites in Iowa for additional information, you can do a 'Find' with your web browser to find keyword information on any one page, print the web page to your printer for a hard copy, the data is more likely to be updated sooner than the printed manual which may only be once a year, and much more.

If you have important reference information whether it be in a printed manual or would like to have your agency's or institution's information available to a wider audience 24 hours a day, 365+ days a year, contact Dennis LaMasters at dlamasters@creston-iowa.com and we can sit down and look at the advantages, design possibilities and more.
